The Forest Vision project is inspired by the concepts of nature and environmental protection. The design team aimed to create a comfortable office environment that blurred the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The materials used in the design, including wood and iron, are all recycled waste materials, reflecting the team's commitment to environmental sustainability.
The design is unique in its irregular layout, breaking away from traditional square office spaces. The interior is transformed into a forest-like environment, with elements of honeycombs and caves incorporated into the design. Large glass windows allow natural light to flood the space, further enhancing the connection with the outdoors.
The realization of this design involved innovative use of materials and techniques. The two-point perspective square wall in the reception room is made from discarded floor materials, trees, and dead branches. The iron parts on the desk are surplus materials from industrial construction. The wooden tables and panels in the office space are refurbished driftwood, treated with heat to eliminate pests in an eco-friendly manner.
The design team faced several challenges in realizing this project. Balancing aesthetics with practicality was a key concern, as was creating a delicate atmosphere in the space. The team also had to ensure that the design was not only beautiful but also functional. The water pipe column, for example, serves as the trunk of a tree but also contains pipelines and wires. The design team had to communicate extensively with the client to ensure that their vision was realized.
In conclusion, Forest Vision is a remarkable example of sustainable design. It demonstrates how recycled materials can be used to create a beautiful and comfortable workspace. The design team's commitment to environmental protection is evident in every aspect of the project, from the use of recycled materials to the incorporation of natural light. This project is a testament to the power of design to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also beneficial to the environment.
